Float Level Test Kit

This test kit allows you to check the float level setting, that is -- the fuel level that is being maintained, and this can be done without removing the carburetor from the tractor, and also without removing the bowl from the carburetor. This test kit should work on all John Deere two-cylinder tractors having single induction DLTX-xx carburetors.

If you been having fuel-feed problems with your tractor; or sometimes it seems like too much fuel is being fed into the engine as evidenced by a momentary choking down accompanied by a billow of black smoke; or do you sense that the engine is sometimes starved by missing a beat or two here and there; this kit should work for you! These kinds of problems along with excessive fuel consumption and even engine overheating just might be overcome by a fuel level adjustment, that is, a float adjustment.
